OBITUARY

PLAMBECK, Jochim, died at 7 o'clock last evening at his home, 1427 Franklin street. Funeral Saturday.

Mr. Plambeck was born in Schleswig Holstein in 1820. In the year 1845 he came to this country, staying for the first year at St. Louis. Then he moved to Moline where he worked for five years in the plant of John Deere, then not by far the great manufacturing house it has come to be at the present time. Later he married Miss Alma Stoltenberg. She died in 1878. He lived for some time on a farm in the Probstei, until 1839 when he came to Davenport. In 1880 he married Miss Bertha Stoltenberg. Five children survive, Mrs. Louisa Lemp, Miss Sophie Hamann, Henry Plambeck, Peter Plambeck and Mrs. August Golhinghorst. The funeral will be Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in the City cemetery.
