OBITUARY

HOEPPNER, Herman. Died at his home, No. 1932 Bowditch street, at 11:30 o'clock yesterday morning of pneumonia.

Mr. Hoeppner was born in Germany thirty-one years ago, and came to Davenport with his parents when a child. He grew up here and learned the painters' trade, afterwards engaging in the meat business. At the time of his death he was employed in the butcher shop of Ernst Burmeister on West Third street. June 28, 1900 he was married to Bertha Schaeb, of this city, who survives as does one child, Leo. Besides these there survive his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoeppner, three brothers, John, Louis and Charles and three sisters, Doris and Louisa at home, and Mrs. John Evans of Chicago.

The funeral will be held from the home Saturday morning at 8 o'clock, with services at 9 o'clock in St. Joseph's church, Rev. Anton Neirman officiating. The interment will take place in the Holy Family cemetery.
