OBITUARY

POWERS, Miss Alice J., died this morning at 1:15 o'clock at the home of her mother, Mrs. John Powers, No. 816 Taylor street, after a long illness.

Miss Powers was born in Davenport, Dec. 25, 1883, and has always lived in this city and was known and loved by a large circle of friends. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. John Powers, her sisters, Mrs. Michael Curley, Mrs. Michael Cronin and Mrs. John Lenihan, of Davenport; Mrs. Jacob Schwartz of Denver, Col., and Miss Anna Powers, at home, and her brothers, John and Michael Powers of this city.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church and the interment will be in the Holy Family cemetery.
