OBITUARY

MARCUS, John W. Died yesterday at 2:30 p.m. at the home of his son, John T. Marcus, No. 512 Harrison street, aged 84 years, where he has been making his home for some time past.

Deceased was a respected citizen of Davenport and is survived by his sons John T. and Henry of Davenport, Harmon of Bellwood, Neb., and William of Laurotte, Neb., and three daughters, Mrs. Dina Phillips and Mrs. Mary Homan of Wellwood, Neb., and Mrs. Lizzie Kasse of Octavia, Neb.

The remains will be taken to Bellvue, Ia., for interment, Monday, via the Milwaukee railway, at 7:15 a.m.
