OBITUARY

REINHOLDT, Karl Died this morning at 4:40 o'clock at his home No. 318 Western avenue, after an illness of two months of quick consumption, aged 40 years and 6 months.

Mr. Reinholdt has been a resident of Davenport for the past seven years, and during that time has gained a large circle of friends. He was born in Brandenburg Germany, and came to this country twenty years ago. He went from New York to Brazil but liking that climate returned to the United States, going to Milwaukee, Wis., where he worked at his trade as bridge carpenter. From Milwaukee he went to Clinton, Ia., where he was married to Miss Emma Svenson, of that city, on the 2d of October, 1891.

Seven years ago he removed with his family to Davenport, engaging in bridge carpentering for the Rock Island railroad. He was very popular with his fellow employees and received many kindnesses from them during his last sickness. His fellow worker, Michael Walsh and wife, being with him to the last, helping and comforting the bereaved family. There survive him his wife, four children, Ruth 11; Arnold, 9; La Verne, 5; and Victor 3 years of age. Two sisters, Augusta and Bertha in Germany and two sisters in Dear Park, Wis., Mrs. Runge and Mrs. Siebrecht.

He was a member of Cedar Camp No. 27, M.W.A., and the Davenport Turngemeinde.

The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
