OBITUARY

GREEN, Mary E. Death occurred today at her home, No. 1518 Liberty street.

Mrs. Green had been a sufferer for several months from heart trouble and Bright's disease, and had been critically ill for the past week. Her maiden name was Mary Allen Fitzpatrick and she was the daughter of one of Davenport's old residents, coming here with her parents in 1854. She was married to Joseph Green in 1861. Born in Beardstown, Ill., Oct. 13, 1841, she was 63 years old at the time of her death. Three sons survive, Francis E. of Davenport; John J. of Des Moines, and James W. of Davenport. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the residence with interment in Oakdale cemetery.
