I am researching a Rev. Wm Hein who was a German Methodist pastor. He served in Schaller, Sac Co, IA in 1891-3. After, serving congregations in eastern SD and western IA he retired to Storm Lake, IA. He and his wife had one adopted daughter Ester May Hein. She was married in Storm Lake on Nov 10th 1908. According to her marriage license she was born in 1891, in Sac Co, IA to Lumbrus and Elizabeth McLaughlin. Any details that would illuminate the circumstances surrounding this adoption would be greatly appreciated.
