Have been attempting to find a copy of the original marriage document for Claus Voss and Louisa Meyer. I found a record on familysearch.org and after contacting a representative was instructed to call Sac County Recorder as there is a copy of the original The Sac Co Recorder referred me to the state office in Des Moines that stated they do not have any documents prior to 1880. Was hoping for information as to where to look next. They married in Clinton Co. Iowa but applied for the license in Sac County.
Any assistance to this matter is greatly appreciated, Robin
