Hi Carol, I just returned from a trip and got your message. My interest in the Green family is through their mother, Bertha Ogden Green. Her mother was Nancy Furman of Hardin Co., Iowa. Nancy is part of my Furman Family Tree.

Do you have Bertha's DOD and cemetery location? Did she die in Iowa? Did Warren Green remarry and have daughter, Lorraine? Do you know when Warren went to California, along with his sons, perhaps? Three of the boys appear on the 1900 Oakland, CA, Federal Census. I have traced Vaughn Green through the census records and was aware he was in Alaska Territory for the 1910 & 1930 census. He was a Spanish American War vet. Do you know Warren's DOD? He is not listed on the CA Death Index. 1940-1997, so I assume he died before 1940.
