I have been gathering information on my Cessford family line for a number of years. Although I am not from Iowa, I have lived here for over 40 years and got acquainted with the Iowa Cessfords. They have shared their family information, but we still don't know how our families are related. I think John Beattie Cessford is the link (my great-great-great grandfather James Cessford was married to Cecilia Beattie). If you know the names of the parents and any family members of John Beattie Cessford or Robert James Cessford, please let me know so we can see how these families are related.
