1893 adoption of Smith by Remackel

I'm searching for the baptism or birth record for a male Smith (likely, Francis) likely born July 5, 1892 in southcentral Sac, northwest Carroll or northeast Crawford county. Maybe in Wall Lake, Odebolt, Breda or Arcadia. Likely non-Catholic. He was adopted by Jacob Remackel of SE qtr section 31, Viola twp, Sac Co., IA and baptised Catholic as Francis Remackel on January 27, 1893 at St. Johns in Arcadia,IA. This baptism/adoption record states that he was born as a Smith in July 1892. There was a Charles Smith adopted by another family at about this same time.
