Mass of the Christian burial for Estelle D. Kelly of Wall Lake was held Thursday, May 26, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wall Lake. The Rev. Leo Riesberg officiated the funeral Mass:

Mrs. Kelly, 79, died Monday, May 23, 1994, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.

Casket. bearers were Robert Reiff, Ambrose Steinkamp, Bill Reiff, Larry Knott, Richard Olerich, and Terry Schnauber.

Burial was in Wall Lake Cemetery.

Farber and Otteman Funeral Home in Wall Lake handled arrangements.

Born June 27, 1914, in Manilla, she was the daughter of George and Delia (Giblin) Knott. She was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Church in Manilla. She attended rural schools and graduated from Manilla High School. She was a country school teacher until 1944.

On June 7, 1944, she married Harold Kelly at Sacred Heart Church in Manilla. Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker and taught CCD for many years. Mrs. Kelly was a member, of St. Joseph's Guild.

Survivors include her husband, Harold, of Wall Lake; two daughters, Rosemary Perschau and her husband, Don, of Waukee, and Rita Kleemeier and her husband, Tim, of Forest City, four grandchildren; two brothers, George Knott and his wife, Jayne, of Denver, CO; and Lloyd Knott of Manilla; a sister, Alise, of Manilla; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Knott of Manilla and Judy Knott of Harlan. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Edward, Francis, and Floyd; and two sisters, Anna Mae and LaVerne.
