ARVIN MELLBERG DIES IN DENVER

Former Wheeler Township Resident Passes Away In Western Home.

Funeral At Odebolt Monday

Arwin Mellberg, the oldest son of Mrs. Emma Engberg of Sioux City passed from this life at Denver, Colo., Thursday, August 19, following several years of poor health, though death came suddenly at the last.

The body was brought to Odebolt Monday morning and was met here by the sorrowing relatives

Funeral services were held at the Kircher undertaking parlors at two o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. J. A. Kettle, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, conducting the service. Interment was made in the local cemetery in the family lot.

Pallbearers were. J. L. Bruce, Alfred Nelson, Martin Berg, A. J. Hovenden, A. S. Tenquist, and A. R. Peterson.

Arwin Mellberg was the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Mellberg, and was born in Wheeler township, September 29, 1882. At his death, he had nearly reached the age of forty-four years.
