The Funeral service for Richard S. Lane, whose death of Thursday, August 21, 1919 was noted last week, was held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Sac City, the Rev. Father Marx of Rockwell City officiated. Interment was made in Oakland Cemetery by the grave of his descendant, his oldest son, Harold, who died during the influenza epidemic last winter.
