Obituary:

JoAnn Worsfold was born on November 1, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Byrtus William and Mary Francis Newman-Sopher Palmer. She was raised and educated in Webb City, Missouri and Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Webb Elementary and Junior High, and graduated from high school in 1950 from Des Moines North High School. She married William Ray Worsfold on October 2, 1954, in Marshalltown. JoAnn was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone as a long distance supervisor, and later worked at Answer Iowa and Answer Plus, retiring on February 7, 1994. She was a member of O.E.S. Central Chapter #67 and Madon Shrine Chapter #38 W.S.I.

JoAnn is survived by her son: William Worsfold and daughter: Joelle Worsfold-Schewe, both of Marshalltown; three grandchildren; and a sister: Kay Warburton of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jeffrey Dean and daughter Beth Ann.
