July 24, 1913 ~ February 20, 2016Lori Watson, 52, of California, MO passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Hospice House of Kansas City surrounded by her loving family.
Lori was born on January 9, 1964 in Mount Ayr, Iowa the daughter of Merton Knapp who preceded her in death and Evalyn Caldwell who survives in Bonner Springs, KS. She was married on April 1, 1992 in Kansas City, MO to Derek Watson who survives at the home.
Lori was a graduate of Mount Ayr High School in the class of 1982. She was faithful to the Lord all of her life, had a great love for seniors and children, and was also a member of the Solid Rock Church.
Survivors include two sons; Brandon Fell and his wife Kelsie of Lee’s Summit, MO, DJ Watson of Springfield, MO, three daughters; Jamie Plaster of San Antonio, TX, Whitney Williams and husband Nathan of Riverside, MO, Chantilly Watson of the home; 12 grandchildren, one brother Tyler Knapp and his wife Melonie of Kansas City, MO, and three sisters Connie Dary and her husband Robert of Chandler, AZ, Donna Collins of Chandler, AZ, and Cindy Pant and her husband Dwaine of Bonner Springs, KS.
Visitation was Thursday, September 1 from 6-7 p.m. with a Celebration of Life following at 7 p.m. all at the First Baptist Church of California, MO. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, MO.
