Mullin Edward -
Edward Mullin was born in Decatur, Iowa, April 11th, 1860; died at his home near Blockton, Iowa, December 6th, 1915, aged 56 years, 7 months and 24 days.

On Oct. 54. 1880, he was married to Ellen Maloney of Dennison, Iowa, to which union were born six children, all of whom survive, except one died in infancy.

A few years ago his health began to fail, and for the past two years,he has been a confirmed invalid. His characteristic patience and
cheerfulness endured until the end, in spite of racking pain and nights of sleeplessness. While there was no hope entertained for his recovery, yet his death came as a surprise to all.

His years of invalidism wore so many years of prayer and meditation, so the angel of death found him ready for the summons.

The funeral was held at the Catholic Church, Maloy, Iowa, at 10:30 o'clock a. m., Wednesday, December 8th. conducted by the pastor,Rev. Father Faucet, and the hundreds of relatives and friends in at attendance were an evidence of the esteem in which he was held.

Besides the widow and children, he is survived by an aged mother, three brothers, and two sisters to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate relative.

Interment was made in St. Mary's Cemetery, Maloy.
