Rife, Mildred E. Sage -
Mrs. Mildred E Rife, daughter of Charles and Ida Shawler Sage was born Oct 1, 1903 south of Clearfield and passed away April 8, 1954 at the age of 50 years, 6 months and 7 days.

She attended the rural schools and was a graduate of Clearfield high school.

March 20, 1946 at Olathe. Kan., she was united in marriage to Forney Rife of Onawa, la., and they have since lived on the farm south of Clearfield.

She was a member of the Christian Church and also a 25 year member of Ed Otis W. R. C. 343 of which she was Treas. for 18 years.

Mrs. Rife was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lena Mae and Mrs. Lila House. To cherish her memory besides her husband, are one brother, Frank R Sage of Clearfield and one sister Mrs. Marie Lewis of Creston.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p. m. at the Christian church, the Rev. Wm. Howes officiating. Interment in Clearfield cemetery.
