Bye, Lorena Myrtle Woodside -
Lorena Myrtle, daughter of John and Elizabeth Woodside; was born Dec. 5. 1931 at Clearfield, Taylor County Iowa and died at the Community Hospital in Cameron. Mo. Mar. 31, 1954 at the age of 72 years 3 months and 26 days.

On Jan. I, 1905 she was united in marriage to Wm. E. Bye of Clearfield. To this union were born two sons, Ernest Wm.. deceased,Ralph H. Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs Golda Louk. Missions. Kan., and Mrs. Bernice Weismiller of Brighton. Colo.

In 1913 the family moved to Kansas where they resided until about 9 years ago, moving then to Missouri. The past six years have been spent in Cameron.

Mrs. Bye was preceded in death by her parents and the son, Capt Ernest W. Bye who lost his life Jan. 9. 1944 in the Pacific while in action in World War II.

Besides her husband, one son and two daughters are 4 grandsons, Gail, Franklin and Peter Louk: Wm. Frank Bye, 1 grand daughter. Jean Weismiller; one brother. Leo Woodside, Clearfield and one sister, Mrs. Irma Grace of Newton, la., other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Poland Funeral Home at 10:30 a. m. April 2 in Cameron, conducted by Rev. Geo. Poe. Graveside services and interment were in Clearfield cemetery Relatives attending the graveside services at Clearfield Friday afternoon for Mrs. Wm E. Bye of Cameron, Mo., were Wm. E. Bye of Cameron; the daughter, Mrs. Edwin Weismiller, of Brigthon, Colo.; the son-in-law,Frank Louk, Missions, Kansas; the daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ralph Bye of Kansas City, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Grace, Mr. and Mrs. N. Bell, Newton, la., Mr. and Mrs. Leo Woodside, Clearfield; Mr. and Mrs. R Jeanes and family of Lamoni; J. E. Jeanes, Mr. and Mrs. L. Jeanes, Redding; Mr. and Mrs. H Freeman, Blockton; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Greeley and Maureen of Gravity; Mrs. Joe Matthews, Maloy; Mrs Walter Mesler, Diagonal; Mr. and Mrs. Chas Johnson and Mrs A
Blanchard, Creston; Mr. and Mrs. A Jones, Lenox and Mrs. F Bye Clearfield.

Attending the funeral services Friday in Cameron from Clearfield were Mrs. F Bye, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Jones and Mrs. F Miller.
