Mrs. Agnes Wood received word last week of the death of her father, John Lepley, 89, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gray of Idaho Falls, Idaho, at 8 a. m., Tuesday, May 27. The Grays and Mr. Lepley had just been getting ready to come to Iowa to visit when he became ill. Survivors: four daughters,
Mrs. Clarence Gray, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. George Davis Hornersville, Mo. Mrs. Agnes Wood, Lenox; Miss Merle Lepley, of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Roy of Mount Ayr and Lee of Clearfield;
10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

John Lepley had lived most of his life in Ringgold county near Maloy.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at 2 p. m. at the Christian church in Maloy. Rev. Kenneth Israel, grandson by marriage, officiated. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery near Maloy.
