OBITUARY - HOWARD KNIGHT, MOUNT AYR

MOUNT AYR - Howard KNIGHT, 67, of Mount Ayr died Sunday afternoon, April 30, 1989, a the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr. The Rev. Norman NOBLE will officiate the service with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr. A family night will be 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Ringgold County diabetic Support Group.

Mr. KNIGHT was born Oct. 7, 1921, in Ringgold County to Orr and Hattie (JACOBS) KNIGHT. He married Luceal LINK Feb. 14, 1942, in Grant City, Mo. He was a lifetime in Ringgold County resident and a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Luceal of Mount Ayr; two sons, Larry of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Jerry KNIGHT of Mount Ayr; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard and Edward KNIGHT of Mount Ayr; and a sister, Louise (Mrs. Merle) WYCOFF of Mount Ayr.
