OBITUARY - PAULINE (CULVER) MINNICK
March 20, 1919 - September 2, 2010

Pauline CULVER MINNICK was born to Sam and Florence (DAVENPORT) CULVER in Athens township in Ringgold County March 20, 1919. She was one of three children. On February 13, 1937, she was united in marriage to Raymond MINNICK in Creston, Iowa. They continued to farm with Raymond's parents and later purchased a farm northeast of Diagonal, Iowa in 1943. They had three children Larry, Elaine, and Mary Louise. In February of 1977, they moved into a home in Mount Ayr. She enjoyed working at the country club with Raymond. In October of 1994 she moved into Clearview Home where she lived until her death.

Pauline enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. She loved music, dancing and always had beautiful gardens. Her greatest joy was having her family around the table for Sunday dinner. She will be remembered for her thought fullness, her honesty and respect for others and her special Sunday dinners.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, two brothers Ralph and Gene, a son Larry, a daughter Louise, and on great-grandson Jamison YEAROUS.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter Elaine and husband Eldon MORRIS, six grandchildren; Michele (LLEWELLYN) THOMAS husband Mark, Lesa (LLWELLYN) NEHRING, Jamie LLWEWELLYN and wife Amy, Angela (MORRIS) HEDBERG, Sheila (MORRIS) McMAIN and husband Kurt, Melissa (MORRIS) SCHULTZ and husband Wayne, twelve great-grandchildren; Sean POLLARD, Troy YEAROUS, Courtney YEAROUS, Braden THOMAS, Bradley THOMAS, Nicholas HEDBERG, Nathan HEDBERG, Kala McMAIN, Sheldon McMAIN, Jessie McMAIN, Gwyneth LLEWELLYN, Ethan SCHULTZ, and one great-great-grandchild Emma Jane.

Services were held Tuesday, September 7 at 1:30 p.m., Wilson-Armstrong Funeral Home of Mount Ayr with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr.
