Leola F. BASTOW, 93, of Temple, Texas, formerly of Tingley, died April 3, 2006, at Weston Inn Health Center in Temple, Texas.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, at the United Methodist Church in Tingley. The Rev. Brian OLIVER will officiate the service. Burial will be in Tingley Cemetery. There will be open visitation after 2 p.m. Thursday with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to Tingley United Methodist Church.
Mrs. BASTOW, daughter of Lena (JERREMS) and Eldon RICHARDS, was born March 24, 1913, in Tingley. On May 22, 1935, she married Ernest O. BASTOW in Tingley. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Dean (wife Barbara) BASTOW of Temple, Texas; two granddaughters, Brenda DUNN and Belinda (husband Jeff) MATTKE, all of Temple, Texas; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant sister Margaret RICHARDS, and four brothers, Lyndon, Frank and Wayne RICHARDS.
