OBITUARY - ELOISE (WALTERS) BROWN

Eloise BROWN, 76, of Tingley died November 28, 2006, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 1, at Tingley Christian Church. The Rev. Alan RUSK will officiate the service. Burial will be in Tingley Cemetery. Open visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Research Foundation.

Eloise BROWN, daughter of Opal (OVERHOLTZER) and Floyd WALTERS, was born January 17, 1930, on the family farm near Tingley. She graduated from Tingley High School in 1947 and A.I.B. College in Des Moines.

On October. 7, 1950, Eloise married Harold BROWN at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. Eloise worked at Tingley Savings Bank and served as Ringgold County auditor from 1985-96. She was a member of Tingley Christian Church and Daughters of American Revolution.

Survivors include her husband, Harold BROWN of Tingley; three children, Jeffrey BROWN of Lenexa, Kan., Julie BROWN of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Joni (husband Roger) ROBISON of Overland Park, Kan.; sister Evelyn BONNELL of Wilsonville, Ore.; six grandchildren, Jacque TIPTON, Jennifer CARPENTER, Joel BROWN, Heather BROWN, John GERINGER and Tiffany DeLONG; and four great-grandchildren.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Megan DeLONG.
