OBITUARY.

Died, Tuesday, June 6th, 1893, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. OGDEN, Mrs. Rachel A. WOODS, in the 56th year of her age. Mrs. WOODS was born and brought up in Washington county, Penn. There she was married to Dr. J. F. WOODS. They moved west and made their home at Aledo, Ill. Here she united with the Congregational church. Her husband died years ago, and she endured the responsibilities of life with a noble womanly spirit.

She moved to Ringgold county in 1882. She was the mother of four children, one son and three daughters. She was noted as an unassuming quiet christian. The funeral took place from the home of Geo. A. SLENTZ, Wednesday, June 7th, 1893, at 10 a. m. The services were conducted by Rev. H. T. JACKSON. The remains were taken on the 11:30 train to Aledo, Ill., for interment.
