NOTICE of DEATH

Mrs. WHITMORE, one of Ringgold's oldest inhabitants, died the 17th inst. She was quite old and feeble, and has been ailing for the past few weeks. One fridday(sic) morning beling left alone in the house, she, it is supposed, fainted and fell, striking against a chair, severely wounding her head. The neighbors did their utmost to relieve her suffering, but she was beyond human help. She leaves a sorrowing husband, who has the sympathy of the entire community.

May she have gone to that better land
Where sorows (sic) all are o'er;
And may she dwell with the angel band
At rest, forever more.
