DEATH of MRS. T. W. WHITE.

Mrs. T. W. WHITE died at the home in southeast Mount Ayr Tuesday forenoon a few minutes before eleven o'clock. She had been in declinng health for several months and on account of her advanced age it was realized for several days previous to her death that the end was near. Death came peacefully, like the passing into a deep sleep, at the age of 79 years, eight months and 12 days.

Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) forenoon at ten o'clock at the Church of Christ and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Ross WILLIAMS. Interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery.

Rebecca Ann TEDROW, daughter of George and Katherine TEDROW, was born in Athens county, Ohio, March 1, 1847, and departed this life at the home in Mount Ayr, Iowa, November 23, 1926. She moved with her parents to Henry county, Iowa, in 1856, and was united in marriage with Thomas William WHITE, also of Henry county, Iowa, on December 13, 1865. To this union were born thirteen children, four of whom preceded the mother in death.

Mrs. WHITE was a faithful member of the Christian church and was a faithful attended (sic) upon the church services as long as her health would permit. She was a true christian woman, always cheerful and kind, and her pleasant smile and happy disposition were an inspiration to all who knew her. At her death her many friends mourn with the bereaved family. She is survived by her husband and nine children. The children are Laura J. WOOD of Mount Ayr, Iowa; John K. WHITE of Kellerton, Iowa; J. W. WHITE of Omaha, Neb.; Silas WHITE of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Lon A. WHITE of Lincoln, Neb.; Jake WHITE of Lincoln, Neb.; Albert WHITE of Macon, Mo.; Lillian M. WHEELER of Lincoln, Neb.; and Maude A. VOLLAND of Milford, Neb.

"Farewell, dear mother, sweet thy rest,
Weary with years and worn with pain,
Farewell, till in some happy place
We shall behold thy face again.
'Tis ours to miss thee, all ours, yes,
And tender memories of thee keep,
Time in the Lord to rest, for so
He giveth His beloved sleep."
