OBITUARY - JOHN W. YOWELL

John Wesley YOWELL, son of Thomas J. and Mary Jane YOWELL, was born January 18, 1894, in Riley township, Ringgold county, Iowa, and departed this life December 5, 1928, aged 34 years, 10 months and 14 days, having lived his entire life in Riley township

He leaves to mourn his death an aged father and mother, two sisters, Miss Laura YOWELL and Mrs. Rosa DALY, three nieces and three nephews; also a host of relatives and friends.

John was always a lover of home, remaining at home with his father and mother, having never married.

He was honest, industrious and of temperate habits.

Funeral services were held at Mount Zion church Friday, December 7, 1928, at 2 p.m., the sermon being preached by Mrs. Noah MOSIER of Mount Ayr, Iowa. The remains were laid to rest in the Mount Zion cemetery near his home.

Sympathy is extended to the aged parents in their loss of this, their only son.
