Clyde Merle OSHEL, 82, of Murray died February 6, 2007, at Osceola Nursing and Rehab Center.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Osceola. The Rev. Dwayne HENRICHS and the Rev. John TUNNICLIFF will officiate the service. Private burial will be in Murray Cemetery [Clarke County IA].
Clyde Merle OSHEL, son of Elsie (EVERLING) and John Henry OSHEL, was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Diagonal. On April 24, 1948, Clyde married Irvel Jeanette FRANCOIS in Grant City, Mo. He was a lifetime farmer and moved to Murray in 1953.
Survivors include his wife Irvel OSHEL of Murray; son Rick (wife Beth) OSHEL of Osceola; daughter Linda (husband Mike) ABBOTT of Osceola; four sisters, Dorothy INGRAHAM of Webster City, Alice (husband Danny) SHANNON of Boone, Joyce ABBOTT of Creston and Norma (husband Landis) BUTCHER of Des Moines; and five grandchildren.
Clyde was preceded in death by his son Randy; parents; four brothers, Roy, Vern, Ralph and John OSHEL; two sisters, Fern MILLER and Linnabelle TRIDLE.
