OBITUARY - GEORGE KILGORE

George KILGORE, 81, of Clearfield died November 8, 2004, at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Corning.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 13, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home in Clearfield. The Rev. Len GARRISON will officiate the service. Burial will be in Clearfield Cemetery. There is open visitation after 11 a.m. Friday with the family receiving friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Clearfield. A memorial has been established in his name.

Mr. KILGORE, son of Eunice Elva (WHITE) and Zenas (ROBERT) KILGORE, was born August 5, 1923, in Diagonal. On June 28, 1946, he married Clara Viola CLAY in Corydon. He retired from Taygold Co-op in Clearfield.

Survivors include his wife, Clara KILGORE of Clearfield; four sons, David (wife Beverly) KILGORE of Auckland, New Zealand, Kevin (wife Cathy) KILGORE of Diagonal, Charles (wife Renae) KILGORE of Lamoni and Gordon KILGORE of St. Joseph, Mo.; three daughters, Kerry (husband Richard) SAVILLE of Lenox, Anne KILGORE of Clearfield and Margaret KILGORE of Poway, Calif.; two brothers; a sister and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and infant brother.
