OBITUARY - MERNA JOHNSTON

Merna JOHNSTON, 90, of Creston died November 14, 2004, at Crest Haven Care Centre in Creston.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 18, at the Christian Church in Clearfield. The Rev. Eydie STEPHENS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Clearfield Cemetery. Open visitation will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday with the family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home in Clearfield. A memorial has been established in her name.

Miss JOHNSTON, daughter of Mary (ESTES) and Veril Golden JOHNSTON, was born July 13, 1914, at Diagonal. She was a teacher in country schools, Newton and Clarinda.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Rhoda JOHNSTON of Diagonal.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Vern and Myron JOHNSTON; and a sister, Helen NELSON.
