OBITUARY - PHYLLIS I. (PACHA) HOGUE

Phyllis I. HOGUE, 81 of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Diagonal, died October 20, 2006, in Mesa, Ariz.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 28, at the United Church of Diagonal. The Rev. Eydie STEPHENS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Marshalltown Cemetery, south of Diagonal. Open visitation will be noon to 9 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home in Diagonal. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association, 1036 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85006-2622.

Phyllis HOGUE, daughter of Avis and Alfred PACHA was born July 1, 1925, in Ringgold County. On January 2, 1943, she married Clyde HOGUE in Maryville, Mo. She worked at McDonald Douglas during World War II. Later, she worked at Dolecheck's Grocery in Diagonal and as a dental assistant in Arizona.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde HOGUE of Mesa, Ariz.; three children, Patti (husband Marvin) REIDHEAD of Apache Junction, Ariz., Greg (wife Rhonda) HOGUE of Buckeye, Ariz., and Barbara (husband Darren) ARNETT of Queen Creek, Ariz.; two sisters, Dorothy (husband Bob) KELLER of Creston and Margaret SWANK of Lenox; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Ann GARDNER.
