OBITUARY - MARTHA E. (GRIFFITH) ROSS

Martha E. ROSS, 83, of Cumberland, formerly of Kellerton, died February. 8, 2006, at Cass County Hospital in Atlantic.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 11, at the Christian Church in Kellerton. The Rev. Kathy JOHNSTON will officiate the service. Burial will be in Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton. Open visitation will be after 1 p.m. today with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials will be established in her name.

Mrs. ROSS, daughter of Ellen Catherine (DONAHUE) and David Thomas GRIFFITH, was born June 16, 1922, in Lucas. On November 21, 1942, she married Avery "Jack" ROSS in Princeton, Mo. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two children, Richard (wife Rosemary) ROSS of Loveland, Colo., and Connie (husband Randy) DAUGHERTY of Cumberland; son-in-law Dale HENDERSHOT of Cumberland; sister JoAnn (husband Chester) TOWNE of Cumberland; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Judy HENDERSHOT; two sons, David ROSS and Jackie ROSS and daughter-in-law Bonnie.
