OBITUARY - HOLLIS RINEHART

Hollis RINEHART, 66, of rural Mount Ayr died November 23, 2006, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 27, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Susan THOMAS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Redding Cemetery. Open visitation will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday with the family receiving friends 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to Redding United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.

Hollis RINEHART, son of Opal (BOLINGER) and Claud M. RINEHART, was born January 29, 1940, in Mount Ayr. He graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1958. On February 21, 1964, Hollis married Lillie COMBS at Grant City, Mo. He farmed and worked at Mount Ayr Products/Dekko 21 years. He was a member of Redding United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie RINEHART of Mount Ayr; son Jeff RINEHART of Murray; two daughters, Lori (husband Kevin) WIMER of Grant City, Mo., and Amy (husband Scott) WEBBER of Edwardsvlle, Ill.; mother-in-law Vera COMBS of Redding; brothers-in-law, Ed (wife June) COMBS of Des Moines and Vance (wife June) COMBS of Cape Girardo, Mo.; three sisters-in-law, Susie RINEHART of Clarinda, Helen COMBS of Redding and Jean (husband Gabe) BOECKMAN of Texas; and six grandchildren.

Hollis was preceded in death by his parents, brother Royce RINEHART and father-in-law Harley COMBS.
