OBITUARY - MINNIE (RAMOLD) RICKER

Minnie RICKER, 96, of Mount Ayr died July 17, 2006, at Mount Ayr Health Care Center.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 22, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mount Ayr. The Rev. Thomas DOOLEY will officiate the service. Burial will be Bohemian Cemetery, southeast of Diagonal. Open visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday with 6:30 p.m. prayer service and family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, all at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. A memorial has been established in her name.

Minnie RICKER, daughter of Barbara (SCHOCK) and Andrew RAMOLD, was born January 14, 1910, in Atkinson, Neb. On February 7, 1931, Minnie married Charlie RICKER at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Nebraska City, Neb. Minnie was a farm wife and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altar Society, both in Mount Ayr, and Wednesday Club in Diagonal.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara ANDERSON of Diagonal; grandchildren, Dr. Dennis (wife Terry) ANDERSON of Omaha, Neb., Dr. Jerome (wife Donella) ANDERSON of Macomb, Ill., and Margaret (husband Michael) HOJJAT of Burr Ridge, Ill.; and great-grandchildren, Grant and Adrienne ANDERSON, Greta, Emma, Lara and Aaron ANDERSON and Charles and Andrew HOJJAT.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1977, son Marlin RICKER; son-in-law Leo ANDERSON and 14 brothers and sisters.
