OBITUARY - DONNA MAE (ROSENGRANT) RICKER

Donna Mae RICKER, daughter of Dr. Harry ROSENGRANT and Pearl (GARTON) ROSENGRANT, was born May 31, 1916 at Grand River, Iowa. She graduated from Diagonal High School in 1934. On January 9, 1935, Donna was united in marriage to Bernard A. RICKER in Albany, MO. Donna was a homemaker and cooked at the Arispe School. She was a member of the Arispe United Methodist Church. Donna and Bernard moved into the Mount Ayr Health Care Center and she passed away there on March 14, 2007.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law Howard "Bud" BROWN; granddaughter Shaunna (BROWN) DULY; brother Garton "Duke" ROSENGRANT; and a sister Coyla ARCHIBALD.

Survivors include her husband Bernard of the Mount Ayr Health Care Center; one son Dave (Barb) RICKER of Waukee, IA; two daughters Bernadine (Eugene) HOLST of Omaha, NE and Rayma BROWN of Naperville, IL; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother Barry (Charlotte) ROSENGRANT of Los Angeles, CA; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services were held Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. from United Methodist Church of Arispe Ayr, Iowa.
