OBITUARY - ROLAND CREGEEN

Roland CREGEEN, 69, of Creston died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at his home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, at the United Church in Diagonal. The Rev. John BERAN will officiate the service. Burial will be in Diagonal Cemetery. Open visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home in Diagonal with family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials will be established in his name.

Mr. CREGEEN, son of Naomi Ferne (GRAHAM) and Joseph Stanley CREGEEN, was born May 21, 1935, in Clearfield. He graduated from Diagonal High School in 1954. On June 16, 1963, he married Janet VAUGHN in Mount Ayr. He worked at Wal-Mart and Wellman Dynamics, both in Creston.

Survivors include his son Kevin (wife Cindi) CREGEEN of Creston; daughter Karla (husband Ken) SHAW of Creston; two brothers, Richard (wife Ila) CREGEEN of Creston and Dale (wife Phyllis) CREGEEN of Rockford, Ill.; two sisters Mary (husband Joe) McCALL of Picher, Okla., and Elsie CREVELING of Creston; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kimba Estelle CREGEEN.
