Janet Sue CREGEEN, 67, of Creston, formerly of Mount Ayr, died June 10, 2005, at her home. Services were 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, at the First Christian Church in Mount Ayr. The Rev. John BRILLO officiated the service. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr.
Mrs. CREGEEN, daughter of Perry and Vona (GERMAN) VAUGHN, was born October 12, 1937, in Mount Ayr. On June 16, 1963, she married Roland CREGEEN in Mount Ayr. They later divorced. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two children, Kevin (wife Cindi) CREGEEN and Karla (husband Ken) SHAW, all of Creston; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Rick (wife Kathy) VAUGHN of Cumming and Dennis (wife Jean) VAUGHN of Independence.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Verlene BYERS and Beverly HOLGATE; and daughter Kimba CREGEEN.
