OBITUARY - GRANT U. CLINE

Grant U. CLINE was born in Clarke county, near Osceola, Iowa, January 13, 1863, and passed away at his home near Ellston February 4, 1933, at the age of 70 years and 22 days.

He was united in marriage to Arvilla SCHRADER, of Osceola, October 15, 1886. To this union were born ten children - five boys and five girls - Etta NELSON of Des Moines, Joseph A. of Chicago, Leroy of Des Moines, Bertha KIMBALL of Des Moines, Estella CORNWALL of Ellston, Elsie THRASHER of Osceola, and Earnest who died in infancy, Amy SHORT of Decatur, Marion of Osceola, and Ellis at home.

Funeral services were held at the Oak Hill Chapel Monday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. L. G. WOLF, of Ellston. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery [near Thayer, Union County, Iowa].

NOTE: Arvilla J. (SCHRADER) CLINE, wife of Grant U., was born in 1867 and died in 1938. She was interred at Oak Hill beside her husband.
