OBITUARY - RALPH LEONARD CAMPBELL

Ralph Leonard CAMPBELL, son of Esta and Cornelia CAMPBELL, was born May 30, 1908, and died June 23, 1933, aged 25 years and 23 days.

On November 7, 1929, he was united in marriage to Mary POTTORFF, of Mount Ayr, Iowa. To this union one son was born, Eldon Eugene. Besides his son he leaves to mourn his departure his wife, father and mother, one brother, Claud CAMPBELL, four half brothers, Emory CAMPBELL of Kansas City, Mo., Jess CAMPBELL of St. Joseph, Mo., Roy CAMPBELL of Martinsville, Mo., and Roy MOTSINGER of Allendale, Mo.; three half sisters, Rilla NELSON of Bethany, Mo., Alma BROWNING of Kansas City, Mo.; Edna KABEL of Skidmore, Mo.; one brother having preceded him in death. Also an aged grandmother and many other relatives and friends are left to mourn his departure.

He was an invalid much of the time since childhood, but through it all he was ever cheeful and kind to all. His friends were numbered by his acquaintances.

The golden gates were open wide,
A gentle voice said come.
And loved ones on the other side
Welcomed our loved one home.
Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church in Allendale by Elder Clifford JACKSON, and interment was at Rose Hill cemetery at Mount Ayr, Iowa.
