OBITUARY - MRS. Mary (WARREN) BROWNELL

Mary WARREN was born on Lake Superior January 1, 1850, and died February 1, 1926, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. MAIN, in Mount Ayr, Iowa. She located with her parents at Hazel Green, Wis., where she grew to womanhood. In 1868 she was united in marriage to George B. BROWNELL, who preceded her in death in 1916. To this union were born ten children, two of whom preceded her in death in 1910, Mrs. Nellie BONHAM and Horace BROWNELL. She is survived by four daughters and four sons: Mrs. Hampton NELSON, Norfolk, Nebraska; Mrs. Raymond CATT, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Frank MOSKAW, St. Joseph, Mo.; Mrs. Hayes MAIN, Mount Ayr, Iowa; Albert BROWNELL, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Jesse BROWNELL, Kansas City, Mo.; Lewis and Edward BROWNELL of Dodson, Montana, and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and an aged sister, Mrs. Jane RICHARDS, Darlington, Wisconsin.

Early in life she confessed her faith in her Saviour and was affiliated with the Methodist church. Besides rearing her own large family she found room in her heart to mother two children of her deceased daughter. St. Joseph, Mo., was the family home for thirty-five years.

Services were conducted by Rev. Lloyd HARMON of the St. Paul Methodist church and the body was interred in the family lot at Ashland cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri.

Card of Thanks.
We take this means to express our heart-felt appreciation and thanks to our many friends and neighbors during the sickness and death of our beloved mother and grandmother.
