OBITUARY - ESTELLA M. BROWN

Estella M. BROWN, daughter of J. E. and R. A. BROWN, died at her home in Union township, December 30, in the sixteenth year of her age [born in 1874]. Her sickness was contracted May 1st from which she has been a constant sufferer. She gave her heart to God in February, 1890. She bore her sickness with patience and without murmuring; trusting in Jesus and __ expressed her willingness to die when the Lord called her home. Funeral services at her home, December 31, conducted by Rev. J. W. McCURDY, after which her remains were followed to the Prairie View cemetery [near Mount Ayr, Iowa] by a large concourse of sympathizing friends who mourn her loss.
