OBITUARY - OTTO W. BRAMON

Nampa, Idaho

Otto W. BRAMON, 91, of Nampa, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1993, in a Nampa hospital.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9 at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa. The Rev. Duane BUHLER, district superintendent of the Assemblies of God, officiated. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell [Idaho].

Mr. BRAMON was born June 9, 1902, at Delphos [Ringgold County], Iowa, a son of Fred B. and Luella (YOUNG) BRAMON. He attended school there, graduating from Delphos High School. He married Alberta Ruth LUCAS on July 4, 1922, at Mount Ayr, Iowa. They farmed at Delphos until moving to Boise in May of 1936, where they farmed. They moved to Nampa later in 1936 and farmed north of Nampa. He was also employed at Pacific Fruit Express in Nampa for 31 years from 1936 until retiring in 1967. He had served as a Nampa auxiliary policeman for many years.

Otto was a member of the First Assembly of God, Nampa, for 35 years; and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Nampa.

Survivors include is wife of 71 years, Ruth of Nampa; a son and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Darlene BRAMON of Boise; a daughter and son-in-law, Donella and Robert DURHAM of Nampa; a brother, Dwight BRAMON of Nampa; a sister, Gladys ROSE of Edmonds, Wash.; four grandchildren: Kenny DURHAM of Boise, Clyde DURHAM of Nampa; Dennis BRAMON of Twin Falls; and Joni FEHRENBACHER of Spokane, Wash. 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He as preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Pallbearers were Kenny DURHAM, Clyde DURHAM, Dennis BRAMON, Scott FEHRENBACHER, Jake DURHAM, and Matt DURHAM. Organist Loveta BUHLER accompanied vocalists Vernon and Judy CAPRENTER as they sang The Love of God, When They Ring Those Golden Bells, and Amazing GRACE.
