My 3x great-grandpa was John Morrison. His son, Johnithan Howell Morrison, was my 2x great-grandpa. His mother was Mariah Pennel (2nd wife of John) who died in 1840(?). John married Margaret Britt in 1839(?). John was born April 23, 1802 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia and died December 31, 1858 in Guernsey, Poweshiek County, Iowa. Nicholas Andrews married Margaret in 1861, five years before he died. John, Margaret and Nicholas are all buried in the Morrison Family Cemetary in Lincoln Township, Poweshiek County, Iowa. Margaret was born 1810 in West Virginia and died May 21, 1906 in Poweshiek County.
