My Great Grandfather John Whitney Christine (from Ohio) spent 1876 - 1887 in Brooklyn, Iowa, with an "uncle", possibly John Strine; There he met his future wife, Eva Simonds, (from Vermont) also staying with a relative. They may have had a child, Ida Mae who is said to have been born in Brooklyn. Any information on any of these, much appreciated.
