Lola, Yes, there is a genealogy society here in Poweshiek County. I am the researcher and one of the directors. We are open on Monday and Thursday from 9-4 and Saturday from 9-2. Contact can be made by phone (641-623-3322) or by email at leon429@zumatel.net.

My early probate index here at home has a probate listed for A. Edgar and what looks like a guardianship for the two girls, two files.
