Stephen A. Palmer died 26 March 1884 shortly after his son, Stephen Palmer moved to Grinnell in 1882. Stephen A. Palmer was born 22 March 1796 in Canada and is buried at Hazelwood Cemetery near or at Grinnell. Does anyone have an obituary or information on this man? Would like a lead on this for a paper that I am writting on a cheese factory the Palmer family held in Jones county, Iowa. Thank you!
