Peal family, railroad-telegraph

Peal Family: Searching for any information about Kern S. Peal who lived and worked in Deep River Iowa. He worked for the railroad, something to do with sending telegraphs. Three of his children might have gone to school in Deep River and 2 were born there , one in 1915 and the other in 1917.I was under the impression that they lived in the depot but not sure about that. Any info appreciated.
