Looking for help this is all I have:
"Mary Lane Bickford. (nee Maul) known as "Grandmother Bickford",With her husband, she came to Iowa in a covered wagon after journeying from Green Bay, Wis. They had planned to settle in Wisconsin but on hearing news of a Monominee uprising they drove on to Iowa and settled in the region of Brooklyn near Belle Plaine. Harlow Bickford, the husband, was a farmer and tavern keeper. Hauled wheat once a week to Iowa City about 50 miles away."
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Earl
