carrie Kinton, maybe Ellis

I am desperately looking for information on a Carrie Kinton (maiden name)who was born in Bedford Co in 1869. Parents died, she became a housekeeper at 11yo for Wm Smith, Atty in Bedford Co.PA was on the census in Bedford in 1980 but not in census after that. A family bible said Carrie got married and left town.
We think that this Carrie Kinton may have been the mother of Harry Goodale (baby given to Louisa "Jennie" Richeson, Gillis, Goodale of Bear Creek Twsp, Poweshiek Co. IA. We know he was born abt 1889. Has anyone heard any stories about this person, where he came from. Her married name could be Ellis. Harry's mother was seem in Brooklyn IA after 1889.
